President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led
by Minister of Industry and Trade of the
Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Co-Chair of the
Azerbaijan-Jordan Intergovernmental Joint
Commission, Hani Al-Mulki.
The President said that high-level political
relations exist between Azerbaijan and the
Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. President Ilham
Aliyev noted the importance of mutual visits of
both states’ leaders for development of
bilateral relations. The President also
mentioned that great plans were underway to
boost economic cooperation and review investment
opportunities between the two states. Touching
upon the Baku meeting of the Azerbaijan-Jordan
Intergovernmental Joint Commission, the Head of
State highlighted the importance of the meeting
for future cooperation.

Commission, Hani Al-Mulki delivered the
greetings and best regards of King Abdullah II
to the President. He informed the Azerbaijani
President of the seminal meetings held in the
country.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his
gratitude for the greetings of King Abdullah II
and requested his greetings to be delivered to
the King of Jordan in return.
