Jordan, Azerbaijan discuss youth
cooperation |

The
Higher Council for Youth (HCY)President
Ahmad Masarwah on Tuesday discussed with
Azerbaijan's Youth and Sports Minister
Azad Rahimov bilateral relations in the
field of youth and sports.
The two men also discussed steps to
implement an agreement signed between
the two countries, which stipulates
promotion and development of cooperation
in the areas of youth, particularly
exchanging experience, youth
delegations, sports programs and camps.
Masarwah stressed the importance of the
visit, which will open way for greater
cooperation for the benefit of youth of
both countries, reviewing plans and
programs of the Council and services to
youth sector in Jordan.
Rahimov thanked His Majesty King
Abdullah, government and people of
Jordan for their warm hospitality and
reception, emphasizing the depth of
relations between the two countries. He
highlighted the importance of enhancing
ties between Jordanian and Azeri youth. |

visit Rahimov is expected to
discuss with his Jordanian
colleagues issues related to the
“Program of Cooperation in the
sectors of science and
education, culture and arts,
youth and sports, archaeology,
health and information for the
years 2010, 2011, 2012”, which
was signed between Azerbaijan
and Jordan on October 12, 2009.
