Azerbaijan`s Youth and Sports minister visiting Jordan

Baku, April 18 (AzerTAc). Youth and Sports Minister of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov arrived in Jordan on the invitation of Jordan`s Higher Council for Youth. During the visit Rahimov is expected to discuss with his Jordanian colleagues issues related to the “Program of Cooperation in the sectors of science and education, culture and arts, youth and sports, archaeology, health and information for the years 2010, 2011, 2012”, which was signed between Azerbaijan and Jordan on October 12, 2009.
The issues related to cooperation agreement in the field of youth between the Higher Council for Youth of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Youth and Sports signed on May 16, 2010, will also be on agenda. The visit will last till April 21.

 

Azerbaijan, Jordan agree on joint activities in youth and sports

 

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 19 /Trend, M.Aliyev/    Azerbaijan and Jordan have agreed upon joint activities in the field of youth and sports, said the Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan.A delegation headed by Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov discussed on Tuesday with the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth Affairs Ahmed Al-Masarva the possibilities of cooperation in the field of youth and sports, agreed to conduct joint activities.
During the visit, there were discussed issues arising from the Agreement on Cooperation in the field of youth between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Republic and the Supreme Council for Youth of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, signed during official visit of King Abdullah II of Jordan to Azerbaijan on May 16, 2010.
During his visit to Jordan, Rahimov also met with President of Jordan Olympic Committee HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, Jordan Prime Minister Maruf Bakhit.

Premier, Azeri Minister discuss sports ties

Amman, Apr 19 (Petra) Prime Minister Marouf al-Bakhit on Tuesday discussed with Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov ways and means of boosting Jordanian-Azeri cooperation especially in sports and youth fields by exchanging programs and expertise.

The meeting was attended by President of the Higher Council for Youth Ahmad Masarweh and Secretary General Sari Hamdan.

 
Jordan, Azerbaijan discuss youth cooperation
 
Amman April 19 ( Petra ) -- The Higher Council for Youth (HCY)President Ahmad Masarwah on Tuesday discussed with Azerbaijan's Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov bilateral relations in the field of youth and sports.

The two men also discussed steps to implement an agreement signed between the two countries, which stipulates promotion and development of cooperation in the areas of youth, particularly exchanging experience, youth delegations, sports programs and camps.

Masarwah stressed the importance of the visit, which will open way for greater cooperation for the benefit of youth of both countries, reviewing plans and programs of the Council and services to youth sector in Jordan.

Rahimov thanked His Majesty King Abdullah, government and people of Jordan for their warm hospitality and reception, emphasizing the depth of relations between the two countries. He highlighted the importance of enhancing ties between Jordanian and Azeri youth.
